Giant Commander Voltron

I remember seeing these at an endcap at Toys R Us, nobody seemed to want them as the metal Voltrons were more cooler. But I remember thinking that they reminded me of Shogun wasn't until years later that I realized that this was a Golion Jumbo! I appreciate this toy much more than I ever had..great find Dave and I'm glad you have one in your collection.

A challenge...?

The (DX) Juuken Gattai Geki Touja from "Juuken Sentai GekiRanger" (2007) could sooooo kick this mecha's ass without even trying. That, and the fact that it can summon additional weapons and armor from thin air means it is adaptable.

No s**t, buddy-! What else would you be doing in the most-centered position in the combo!? Guess I'm a more modern anime fan in that way. Stupid Americanized dubbing lines...

Now, if the Geki Touja weren't so, em- plain and ugly, I might more-seriously consider getting one...

Golion Super Machinder

I don't know if you really care or not, but I found this weird cool Super Machinder of Voltron on eBay. After seeing this, I thought you might be interested. It appears to be able to seperate into the 5 lions. The interesting thing about this Machinder, though, is that it originates from Korea!

Interesting. I've never seen

Interesting. I've never seen that before. Not sure how much of a "machinder" I consider that to be, but it's sure an oddity. Might have been interested at about 1/5 of his asking price.

But in the future, please don't post live auctions. I doubt there's exactly a big line to get that anyway, but it's not a good habit to be in. It's better to save and re-post the pictures. That way every one can see the item you're talking about, but you don't anger someone who was hoping to score the toy. That's a pretty big "no-no" in general.

Sorry about that. I didn't know that that was considered a "no-no". Thanks for telling me.

Voltron Review Update

I've updated this review to show some variations that I've become aware of since first publishing this many years ago.
