There were a couple of occasions where I did double-takes when they were sitting side-by-side. I'd seen the blue Astro Megazord for years, and then suddenly having its color-polar opposite next to it felt weird when I looked at it! Of the [few] repaints I have of other toys, this was the first time this has happened to me.
Though I prefer the blue ver., I kinda like the dark and menacing look to this one.

He is definitely one of the best Star Wars figures of all time. To keep things fairly robotic, the vintage IG-88 figures is also pretty good and almost as pose-able.
Well, honestly, it sort of is a pain in the butt, but I'll do it anyway.. ;) It's just that all the boxes are stored away who knows where and some of them are in my counter case which is a chore to dig into. But it should be fun. Give me a couple days or so..

I hope I'm not being a pain about the juniors, but I would love to see any pics you might have of any you possess. I really love collecting them ,but it's pretty tough on E-bay given the ambiguous search terms. I just think they are so damned fun...

The one on the Hanedaman box that you are looking for was sold in a box called "Kimpo Warrior". I don't think I've actually seen it in a Hanedaman box before. You can see it in CDX user Jerilock's collection here. My Mazinger one is also sold in a "Kimpo Warrior" box.

Yeah, Hanedaman does have navy blue legs. I also have the Space Hero junior, which looks exactly like the box, but I assume you have that. I really want to find that second robot that is on the Hanedaman box. No luck so far.
Also note that on the chest crest on the box, it looks much more Mazingerish than the toy. Plus, the toy came with an axe, where the box art shows him with a sword.
I don't see what you're trying to show, but I am familiar with Hanedaman. I've passed on buying one a bunch of times because it's so similar to this one I already had. Hanedaman is close, but actually comes with different legs. And I love these crazy Junior Machinders too, but this one just isn't one of my favorites.

I have this toy, but it came in a box labeled "Hanedaman: Space Warrior" with art on the box that does match the toy (sort of...he's actually fighting another robot, both of which have equal space on the box, and are both featured on the side of the box, so I assume this is a junior I don't have yet). I can provide a pic if you'd like.
Oh, and I'd disagree with you on the looks of the toy. I love these Italian junior machinders and pick them up whenever I can find them on E-bay. They're very kischy!
Yeah, I wasn't super-impressed with the Toy Island Mummy either...something about that rubbery PVC that turns me off, even though the paint apps were pretty good. On the other hand, the Creature from the Black Lagoon from this series was given to me as a gift and I love the hell outta that thing.
The problem is, I can't tell whether I love it because it's legitimately a good toy or because of my blind gillman adoration! :P
Perhaps it's because I don't know net-speak as well as I should, but... what in thee hell did he just say!? :(

Y'know, I just heard the other day about those being on sale at KB. To be honest, I've only held one in person (the Mummy) and I really didn't like it. I've got a few lines out fishing for other things I'm looking to buy now so they are not high on my priority list at the moment. I might get them, but I don't wanna promise either...

hi,there is a plastic version for this n is totally the same,but only made up of pvc.but its around 1/3 of this price.its name as voltron lion force gift set.i already preoder mine,n i think u should.i believe the plastic ver joint will be better as its lighter,n u can now not worry of playing with this piece rather den just display on the shelf cause its plastic n its much more cheaper.haha.can't wait for mine to come.hey go check it out man.should not miss this one..

The guy was asking $20 for the Imperial and $45 for the decanter. Seems like it would have made more sense the other way around.
