K-3PO is a protocol droid seen roaming the halls in Echo Base on the planet Hoth. It seems like Protocol Droids don't get as many variations as Astromech's do, so it's nice to see a variation. Sadly, it's a crap figure.
The main issue is that the figure cannot stand up on it's own. The pose has one leg bent a bit forward, but it can never fully balance.
Whatever the blue smudge on the chest is, I don't like it. I assume it's supposed to be some kind of battle damage?
His accessory is a Stentronic Sensor Pack, whatever that means.
Hasbro would create a better version of this figure 10 years later.

1 comment postedI think the battle damage was originally supposed to be temperature activated. I'm guessing storage conditions simply made it permanently visible, as color changing toys tend to.
