She's a lady, whoa-a-whoa-a-whoa...

Cool review, thanks!

I recently got interested in the (somewhat schizophrenic) AGP line and picked up the AGP Gundam Unicorn. Looking at the other figures, Cecilia was definitely one of the most interesting. I didn't know any of the IS backstory beyond glancing at the Wikipedia article, so I enjoyed your characterization.

From your review and my own impressions of the Unicorn Girl, it feels like Bandai is doing a decent job but isn't at the level of, say, a Figma in terms of the solidity of the characters and the quality of the sculpt and paint. Unfortunately, their prices are at the premium level. I may not get any others unless they do a real must-have character for me (like, I dunno, a Shin Musha Gundam Girl).

You mentioned that mecha musume figures are a growing market - what other lines do you feel deserve a look?

Really the gold standard for

Really the gold standard for mecha musume type figures is Busou Shinki but sadly the line seems to have canceled so the only way to get them is through second hand sellers. Figma is starting to branch into that area with their upcoming Kantai Collection toys though they're not intended to be quite as modular as a Busou Shinki. There's been some other small lines like Gakuen Gattai Moebine that I've not had a chance to check out.
