Kaiyodo made some way back in the day. I think the line up was Knight of Gold, LED Mirage, and The Empress, with clear variants. They're pretty, but the articulation could optimistically be called 'spartan'. Due to the fragility of the designs, they're even more prone to breakage than Kaiyodo's other monoshaft toys. All PVC, natch. They look real nice if you never touch them, or keep them in the package. I would guess they were around 6"?
There were apparently boxed versions that came out late in the life of the monoshaft line, with completely new sculpts, and much better playability, but my experience is only with the blister card versions.
I'm getting this if I can find it for $65 or less.
If it's halfway decent, I'm there.
It's toys like these, that make me glad I don't spend my cash on the run-of-the-mill toys, at my local Toys'R'Us store.
Has anyone else and if so, is there any hope these things will be good? I would sure like a Gurren lagann that can stand with my SRC's and Detonator Orgun is NEAT!
....any word on when that awesome looking Lazengann is going to hit shelves
