The marketing folks at

The marketing folks at Megabloks, like myself, have a fondness for the "Shadow/Highlight" filter in Photoshop. The PR shots look good, the product, especially the dropship, looks bleak.

Halol

I love that set which are built backwards. Go figure. Was there a McFarlane toys booth for the rest of the Halo line up?
I know from Bungie (the game's developer) that McFarlane was continuing their ODST assortment and starting on REACH, but didn't see any other reports out of Toy Fair.

Figures

Pun intended.

Thats fine. I went looking elsewhere and the only thing I saw related to Halo on any Toy Fair news site were mock ups of the blister packs with cardboard inserts of the planned figures based on the digital models from Bungie.

Love the Dropship

One of those plus one of the Hawk kits should be enough to make an Aliens dropship. The harder part is going to be the APV, but there's enough wheeled vehicles in the line for that.

On a separate note, the large figure kits are awesome. They have enough exposed studs that you can use the vehicle kits to armor them up (all unofficially of course). I'm not sure there's enough room to make them full Transformers, but it's worth a shot.
