The Raideen New Joint Model is a variation of the original Joint Model, but without any colors. This version is meant to be assembled and painted by the purchaser. The back of the package has a paint and assembly guide.

Not sure why these were released in two different colors, but they are the same kit.
It feels like this one came first and then the color one came after, but since this one is named NEW Joint Model, I think it came after.

1 comment postedCool. I think I have Grendizer and Gaiking in this line. I got them pretty cheap and hoped the same for Danguard Ace but for some reason that one seems more expensive. Doug did a nice paint job on his Gaiking one but I don't think i could bring myself to paint anything vintage.
