Sentinel
Review by AJProDie-Cast
From Hot Toys comes this cool rendition of the Sentinel from theThe Matrix.
The Sentinel comes in a sleeve case with The Matrix icon screen look and lays in a plastic shell casing.
It comes out all assembled and ready to hunt for human Duracells!
The Sentinel has, as with all Hot Toys releases, great detail and wonderful quality.
The spiderish face with the intricate red eyes seem to scan your fear and all the little claws move and pivot on ball joints with fiendish intricacies.
It is long and OK in size.
It has claws on the end of every tentacle and of course they work.
The antenna array is a nice touch.
It sits on the stand in a plastic tab and you can easily pose it in flight mode (tentacles trailing in back).
Or the cool Medusa-like hovering or attack mode.
It went for around 50 bucks plus shipping, I do worry that twisting the tentacles back and forth will eventually break, but so far no white marks and it still functions well. It is a NON-diecast item in my collection... belaying its quality and detail.
I say go get one, unless we are all in The Matrix anyhow and our collections are just bits and bytes in a virtual reality....
