Andromeda
Review by AJProDie-Cast
In the quest for all things Andromeda comes this totally diecast ten inch baby.
It came in a windowed box with a weird engulfing Styrofoam tray.
It rests on a hard plastic and felt covered stand; simple but nice looking.
The ship kind of shut me up... all diecast, but nothing moves. Made me actually wish for some plastic parts that move.
If you get by the fact that it is a metal paperweight, it is has the great look we have come to love from the Andromeda.
It came out in 1999 and can be found on Ebay for around 80 bucks. It looks nice next to the GX-58, and while as interesting as Medusa's boyfriends... it comes recommended.

1 comment postedLove the Andromeda...one of those iconic ship designs that just screams badass. I was surprised to actually find this review since this piece is pretty tough to find nowadays. Wish they made larger scale Gamilon ships in this line. They really are paperweights but display nice and a must own for hardcore Star Blazers/SBY collectors.
