E-92

Review by JoshB
Eden was an anime released on Netflix in 2021, and while I enjoyed it, it didn't leave much of a mark on the anime landscape. Super7 got the license, and got three large size "Supervinyl" and a bunch of smaller chibi-style toys into Target in the collector section. Collectors responded with a collective yawn, and they soon went on clearance.
At $20 it was a bit much for basically a static vinyl figure. But for $6 on clearance? Ok!
E-92 and A-37 are the adoptive parents of the last human girl. They are funky robot designs, not made for combat, but they are nice enough. Fun fact, in the English dub, E-92 is voiced by David Tennant of Doctor Who fame.
It comes in a nice box.
E-92 stands 6" tall and made of a firm vinyl, much firmer than Japanese sofubi.
There are three points of articulation. Arms and waist both swivel. The legs do not move at all.
Once I got it out of the box and mucked with it I kind of like it. I think it was orverpriced and overpackaged originally, but at clearance prices it's a nice piece.
I will note that Super7's press release states that Supervinyl was "a new line of 6” vinyl figures in the “hang-tag” style of soft vinyl figures traditionally made in Japan." - and then sell them boxed at $20 each. If you could have put these on a hanging tag for $10 it would have been a no-brainer.
