Santa's Visit

Review by siningy
As one of the two winter seasonal sets put out by Lego, Santa’s Visit is the only holiday specific one. Coming in at 167 pieces, this little 10 dollar set features a little vignette of Santa bringing gifts to a house with a cozy fireplace along with some cookies and milk left out by the children.
The set comes with 2 small plates and 3 bags of pieces. It’s a fairly quick build, but like the previous seasonal sets, has some pretty creative use of pieces.
Unlike most seasonal sets however, only a Santa minifigure is included, along with a house cat.
The Christmas tree is pretty small but pretty creatively built. I kind of wish they used translucent flat studs however.
A small table with featuring 2 cookies on a ‘plate’ and mug are left to a large recliner.
The fireplace is detailed with the brick looking…bricks. There are two stocks on top of the mantle and a wreath.
The fireplace is really nice looking for how small the set is and really helps set the cozy mood of the set.
I really love Santa’s Visit and it’s an incredibly good deal at 167 pieces and 10 dollars. The set has a lot of warmth to it and looks great as a vignette. Even for none Lego fans, this is still a fun little build that works great as gift or stocking stuffer and can easily be displayed on a desk. Due to the popularity of these sets and their exclusiveness, they tend to sell very fast. I bought this one shortly after Thanksgiving only to find the other winter seasonal set sold out.
