Princess Leia Collection: Princess Leia and Wicket the Ewok

This set, Princess Leia and Wicket the Ewok, was part of the ill-fated Princess Leia Collection, a series of two-packs featuring Princess Leia and a companion themed around a scene in one of the movies. Here we see Leia and Wicket from the Forest moon of Endor. Wicket here is a repack from the Freeze Frame series, but this is a unique sculpt for Leia.

Leia actually looks good here - I like the braids being a different material from the rest of the hair, and I even like the soft goods skirt. The belt is a little thick and heavy handed, but it all seems to work. Leia's makeup is a bit heavy though. Kenner in the 90s could never figure her out.

Wicket is a fine figure. He's a little cartoonish, but he would fit in with the 5 POA figures released today. It's kind of hard to screw up an Ewok. If I had any complaint it is the spear is always warped.
