P-131

The Final Faction toyline is nuts. Sold exclusively at Dollar Tree, these are remarkable for the fact that they are as good as they are for $1 (well, now $1.25 but whatever). P-131 comes from the second series and belongs to the good guys, aka Alpha Team 1.

P-131 is a drone, so it’s a slightly smaller than human sized robot. The toy itself only has 5 points of articulation – head, guns and legs. But it’s a solid little guy that evokes design styles of Macross Destroids. 

The toy is molded in two colors – green and black. Only the green parts appear to have gotten any paint wash with some slight weathering.

The holes on the back are for use with the accessory weapons packs. There is a pack dedicated just to this mech, which we will review separately.

For $1.25 you cannot go wrong with this little piece of hand candy. But it gets even better when you spring for the weapons pack.
