Boba Fett

Review by Atom
Recently we got a mystery box mailed here at the CDX headquarters and inside were a couple of Star Wars Mimobots, a Royal Guard and Boba Fett. Josh offered me the Boba Fett one last time I was passing thru the CDX headquarters.
What's a Mimobot? A designer USB flash drive. Mimobots started showing up in the hands of trendy technorati a few years ago with original designs and soon started adding well-known licenses to the mix. Boba Fett is from their Series 2 line of Star Wars Characters.
Boba was limited to 5000 pieces and is already sold out as this article goes live. I must say for something as utilitarian as a USB flash drive the paint detail on this looks great! It's an excellent, yet adorable likeness of the most infamous bounty hunter in the galaxy. I love the removable helmet and clone face underneath.
ProtoHoodie Keychains can be ordered separately to take your Mimobot with you. Mine came with one already packed in. Pheyden not included... Capacity on this model is 2 Gigs but an 8 Gig model was also made available.
While Boba is sold out they have many other characters available from the Star Wars movies as well as Domo, Halo and Happy Tree Friends as well as many original pieces done by designer artists.
You can get find out more and get your own Mimobot at their official site.

Ha! Love how removing the helmet not only exposes the fact, but also the USB drive too.
I'd be worried to clip it to a bag or what have you, since the hoodie strap could rip off of the chain. Then not only would you lose a cool Boba Fett, but your potentially dangerous files may fall into...dare I say it-THE WRONG HANDS!!!
Cool little toy though. Sort of looks like the Fett Mighty Mugg looking in a carnival mirror.
These are pretty neat--I got a chance to check 'em out at NYCC when the Microsexuals were chilling with the Mimo-crew.
I was really hoping they'd have a proper Sucklord mimo...but alas...

Yes, I'm replying to my own post. I'm that cool. But, yo, I've been checking their site out since yesterday, and I've gotta say, Atom, damn you for making me want these!
I know...my saying that is becoming a habit. A bad one. But here we are... Seriously, I think I want one. And I hate Star Wars! ;)
