Review by AJProDie-Cast
Like the other Leiji Matsumoto's Mimuko Toys, the Yamato is around 10 inches. All diecast, static, and in funky packaging.
Same stand as Andromeda, which is OK and does the job.
Just like the Andromeda, I actually regret this purchase... they look cool, but the totally static "paperweight design" bothers me.
The size is OK next to GX-57 and the the BPX-01 (in pic).
It looks pretty good and for like 67 bucks, maybe get it. I say save the money and get a Popy version or Bandai's GX-57, with its cool light and sound effects.
This version from Mimuko Toys came at a time where there were few new Starblazers releases... now you can get something else... unless you like looks, no go.
Go statue!

until you said it, I did not think of it and now...makes sense!
