It’s an ugly little Raideen, isn’t it?

This toy comes from the 1986 gashapon “Deformed Series” This series was broken down into four parts:

- Nostalgic Robo
- Getter Robo G
- Mazinger Z
- Tetsujin 28
- Raideen
- Nostalgic Monsters
- Gamera
- Daimajin
- Godzilla
- King Ghidorah
- Hero
- Billbine
- Gundam
- Vifam
- Xabungle
- Tobikage
- Tobikage
- Bakuryu
- Kurojishi
- Houraioh
Therefore, Raideen comes from Deformed Series 1 – Nostalgia Robo. Each robot in the series was available in either Red, Yellow or Grey and came unassembled in a clear capsule.

Assembly is easy, and once complete you can move the arms and legs a little. It requires paint to look like the picture shown in the included pamphlet.

Small and unessential unless you are a Raideen freak like me. I thought that this would be an interesting exercise in cataloging an otherwise unremarkable line.
