Series: RahXephon

RahXephon (ラーゼフォン) is a science fiction anime television series about young Ayato Kamina, his ability to control a godlike mecha known as the RahXephon, and his inner journey to find a place with the world around him. There is also a somewhat tweaked manga adaptation of the anime.
The 26 episode television series was produced by BONES and aired January 21–September 10, 2002. The english language translation was produced by ADV Films that released 7 volumes of video on DVD. (Wikipedia)
