Let's face it: Stikfas is really about customizing. I mean, the announcement of their Evangelion figures is certainly interesting...but does the world really need more Evangelion figures!? Well, at least these renditions will certainly be unique...

Still, since Mr. Bany J brought Stikfas to the scene five years ago or so, they've made a serious impact with both collectors and kids alike by redefining what an action figure could be.

In a sense, Stikfas have reclaimed the roots of action figures. How about that? Toys didn't have to be released with a huge cross-promotional/marketing blitz with all sorts of multimedia tie-ins. Toys could just be whatever a person's imagination could come up with! And believe me: if you've never handled a Stikfas toy before, just google it. You'll find hundreds of sites devoted to customizing these guys.

It's a testament to what they've created: a basic figure so versatile that pretty much everyone gets a shot at coming up with the action figure of their dreams!

But enough talk...let's see some pics! First up, we have stock (unmodified non-custom) Stikfas figures...fresh outta the box!

001.jpgA personal favorite of mine: dinosaur skeletons...if only they glowed... :(

014.jpgAncient Egyptian and Roman gladiator themes.

015.jpgAnd of course...Vikings!
Can you hear the metal playing in the background!?

And of course, it wouldn't be a true representation of Stikfas without fresh customs:

Lastly...we have Evangelion. Unfortunately, the actual Evangelion Stikfas were not on display, but I got these shots of the promo art:
