IFC presents all 26 episodes of the popular anime supernatural thriller series HELL GIRL from Aniplex starting September 30, 2008 at 8:00pm ET/PT as part of IFC?s new Tuesday night AUTOMAT programming block.

THE STORY OF HELL GIRL: Rumor has it that there is a website, HellCorrespondence.com, which can only be accessed at midnight. Those who reach it can enter the name of someone who has wronged them and get their revenge through Young Ai Enma, also known as Hell Girl. This denizen of the underworld takes requests from the website and sends the appropriate victim to Hell. However, those who choose to go ahead with revenge must pay a price: on the day that they die, they will also go to Hell, with no chance of redemption for their soul.

HELL GIRL tells the tale of those who meet Hell Girl and make the choice of divine retribution, and the price they must pay in this life and the next to pay back her services.

The IFC AUTOMAT is a Tuesday night four-hour block packed with exclusive uncut, uncensored alternative programming including network premieres, originals, shorts, web shows, anime and more.
