VF-1S Hikaru Ichijo Movie Version by Arcadia

Arcadia is continuing to press on in the place of Yamato with another reissue of the popular 1/60 scale Perfect Transformation VF-1S. This reissue of the Hikarui Ichijo Movie Version comes with all the accessories of the previous release, a new type of display stand that features storage space for all the weapons in the base, and all the extra optional parts like the side covers and Battroid mode egress seat. Coming out in December 2013 for 16,800 yen.

EDIT: The VF-1S Strike (Hikaru) is a holy grail for me! Aww, no anti-ship missiles?

Yamato was either merged

Yamato was either merged into or bought by Arcadia for reasons that I'm still not completely clear about. At any rate, the company 'Yamato' no longer exists.

Edit: Let me rephrase that a bit. Yamato Toys is still being used as the US name, and the US website is ostensibly still running, even though it looks pretty rough (I assume that has nothing to do with the topic at hand though). The Japanese website went offline a few weeks after the news broke.

...well its good to see that Arcadia is still doing Macross stuff then....yeah I googled but not much news out there.
