Iron Monger also left a positive impression on me as far as the potential for powered suits in the movie series.) Now, I've never read the comics, but I just felt a disconnect there.
But I could see myself getting this as opposed to any of the US-released standard action figures they had in stores.
(Actually, there were several things I didn't like about "Iron Man 2", but it was a fair-enough film to warrant another sequel.)
War machine was really just a spare iron man suit with a bunch of guns really. Except for the version where Rodie could absorb technology and weaponize it for instant use.
I've read that, yeah. But, still, you would think that for its debut [in the movie] it would have SOMETHING to make it standout from the Mark.VI in some way other than just some extra bullets and a milder color scheme. Why use bullets when you have RTs (or whatever the blasters in the chest and palms are called)!?
Stane didn't have the know how or tech and bullets are easier and cheaper.
Wait, Stane was killed in "...I". You mean Hammer, right?
Yea I mean hammer. thinking of the books atm.
Want and need this thing. Love how the shoulder gun is articulated.
I love the look of this War Machine. It has the great sculpt and proportions of the Marvel Select War Machine and it looks like the great articulation of the Hasbro War Machine. I have the Marvel Select version and love the way it looked, loved the opening face mask but hated it's limited poseability and its lack of details such as the missing labels and the missing ammo belt! (I made an ammo belt for mine & it looks 1,000 times better).
I am going to keep an eye on this. No way I can get the Hot Toys verions but this one is now on my radar.
Is it me or did they put more effort into War Machine than Iron Man? After looking at this War Machine and then looking at the Revoltech Iron Man, Iron Man looks a little off.
Only thing that bugs me is no missiles! Why?
