30th Anniversary Voltron Collectible Figure!Coming Soon from Toynami7.22.2013
Voltron fans attending San Diego Comic Con were thrilled to see a giant Voltron statue announcing the arrival of a new 30th Anniversary Die-Cast Collectible from Toynami! Pics showed up early on the Official Voltron Facebook Page and Twitterthat featured upgrades including light-up eyes, a deluxe stand, weapons and accessories, as well as a collectible Lion key! Toynami's booth also featured a display featuring the history of Voltron products from the gurus at Toynami including vinyl figures and more. Robotech/Voltron Comic Series Announced!From Dynamite and DC Comics7.22.2013
Anime history was made at San Diego Comic Con as Dynamite Entertainment in association with DC Comics, WEP and Harmony Gold, announced a new crossover comic series between two legendary properties with Robotech/Voltron! "Robotech and Voltron are two of the most recognizable anime series that defined '80s pop culture," says Tommy Yune, creative director at Harmony Gold and mastermind behind the upcoming crossover. The opportunity to do so is an honor, and it's a welcome challenge to construct a storyline that works well with key characters on both sides. Most important of all, it's going to be a lot of fun with plenty of surprises." 2 comments postedI keep seeing this comic advertised and i'm a huge Voltron and Robotech fan. But I so don't give a dang about this. The last Voltron comic by Dynamite sucked it started out interesting enough. But by the end it was a really hard read and I was so disappointed. And it leaves me very sceptical that this comic will be any good
