Metal Build Gundam Exia Repair from Gundam 00 Updated!
Bandai just teased an exciting retool of their excellent Metal Build Gundam Exia as the menacing Exia Repair. This is the state of the Gundam Exia after its climatic battle at the end of Gundam 00 season 1. Even with only one arm and half a face, Exia is ready to eliminate the target. Coming in September 2013. MSRP is 13,800Yen. Like all Metal Build Gundams, this figure is 1/100 scale (about 18 cm tall) and is loaded with diecast metal. Can be configured as either Exia Repair or Exia Repair II from the end of the season 2.

For some reason, that head sculpt looks a million times better with a terminator eye sticking out of it. I also like the subtle weathering job and the cape. Too often with these types of things, the cape is where it gets let down because either they make it out of cloth and it cannot hold a pose and looks awkward or if you use plastic it doesn't quite look like a cape. That does not appear to be the case here. While I'm normally cautious of anything that has a much cheaper model kit equivalent, this does interest me a great deal.
I have picked up all the Metal Builds and I have yet to be disappointed and I am not really a gundam fan. Exia is a fun little piece I am not sure this one is different enough for me to grab but......that head is pretty badass.
