KOTOBUKIYA FRAME ARMS MULTI ASSEMBLE MECHANICAL UNIT MODEL KITS - SA-16D KHANJA & TYPE32 MODEL5 ZENNRAI

LOST PLANET 2 ACTION FIGURES - PTX-140 HARDBALLER EARLY MODEL & GTF-11SR DRIO

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! Next up in the amazing line of Vital Suits from Capcom’s sci-fi third-person shooter Lost Planet 2 (sequel to the hit Lost Planet: Extreme Condition) are two variant versions of the amazing mecha designs. Pose your Vital Suit action figures for combat with 20 points of articulation and an exclusive ball-jointed system that lets you interchange their weapons.

The first is the PTX-140 HARDBALLER EARLY MODEL, a preliminary design for a heavy combat unit that would later see the “R” upgrade. Based on the prototype for the famous “Ivan” suit, the original Hardballer featured an incredibly powerful and heavy frame that hampered its power and thrust ratio. Covered in thick armor plates and standing on ski-like feet, the Hardballer mounts heavy weapons and features an antique brown paint scheme. The hard-fighting Hardballer Vital Suit is 6 inches of destructive capability. It comes fully equipped with a rocket launcher, laser rifle, and a heavy-duty chain gun for maximum destruction focused against pirates and the alien Akrid!

The second new variant Vital Suit is the aerial combat unit GTF-11SR DRIO. Developed for zero-G operations, the original Drio model was equipped with a multi-jointed body for full attachment capabilities of weapons. With an open cockpit for full visibility of the battlefield and a humanoid shape streamlined for aerial combat immediately recognizable by its blue-gray paint scheme, the Drio became the primary workhorse of the E.D.N. II colonists. Standing at approximately 5 ½ inches tall, the Drio Vital Suit is the perfect weapon against opposing aerial combatants and the agile Akrid with both chain gun and gatling gun. The action figure also includes a miniature Mountain Pirate pilot figure!

KOTOBUKIYA FRAME ARMS MULTI ASSEMBLE MECHANICAL UNIT MODEL KITS - SA-16D KHANJA & TYPE32 MODEL5 ZENNRAI

A KOTOBUKIYA Japanese import! Continuing the hit line of original robot model kits, the Frame Arms series has two new members. These never before seen robots are based on a core concept: every unit has a basic robot skeleton, or “Frame,” which is highly articulated and covered in universal 3mm attachment points. Incredible armor pieces and weapons differentiate each robot, while all parts are fully interchangeable between all units. The Frame Arms multi assemble mechanical units are even compatible with Koto’s M.S.G. (Modeling Support Goods) series of support units and Border Break robots, opening up a huge amount of easy customization!

In 2019, under the auspices of the international military alliance NATIA (North Atlantic Ocean Tactics Evolution Aggregate), the United States Armed Forces unveiled the “Human Type Multi Purpose Standard Frame Drive,” a universal robot body that each allied country could develop with various external weapons and armor.

The next robot in the Frame Arms series is the SA-16D KHANJA, an advanced version of the SA-16 Stylet that takes the aerial combat attacker to a whole new level! The Khanja is comprised of approximately 180 parts, with 30 points of articulation. The robot stands almost 7 inches tall and comes with its own unique armor and upgraded weaponry including the MSG/MW-04 “Machine Gun and Missile Launcher,” FA/MG-04 “Medium Machine Gun,” and the FA/ML-04 “Multi Missile Launcher!”

Continuing the “main battle tank” motif, the TYPE32 MODEL5 ZENNRAI, a special “booster pack” version of the original Gou-Rai robot, mounts imposing heavy armor and tank treads. The frame features approximately 30 points of articulation, even with the added components. The Zennrai’s upgraded and expanded arsenal includes the FA/CH-13 “Chainsaw Unit”, LN-13 “Laser Bayonet”, DBG-13 “Double Barrel Balkan,” and an exclusive bonus head. Standing over 6 inches tall, the robot is comprised of approximately 180 parts.
