But here's my problem with this: Rei (and Asuka-chan for that matter) are both underage even by Japanese standards. And I've seen them in all manner of dress [and un-dress] for the last 11 years. And yet, how many have I seen of Misato? Ritsuko? Even a lesser character like Lt. Ibuki? Howsabout their classmate Hikari? Nope- none of those; it's just always Rei and Asuka.
Hey- even though I ain't into shonen-ai or **** action, howsabout Shinji and Kaworu? Ever see those two in such outlandish outfits or lack thereof with the same frequency as the First & Second Children?
