"We have the technology! We have the ships! We need soldiers!"
They have better pea-shooters!

Definitely gonna need to see a review on this one... I like Yamato, I like die-cast more than I used to, I like Star Ship Troopers, and I like 1/35 scale, so it could be a winner.
I'll be damned.
Well, I like what Yamato is putting out these days, and the price is certainly right on this one. I might just throw down on this. It's powered armor, thus, I have a soft spot for it. Roger better get one, too (you lurking out there, Rog?).

Wait-wait-wait- this is powered armor, and not a mecha?
I know in the novel they use both powered armor (rather than that shirt-sleeve crap from the movie) and the larger piloted mecha here as their multi-terrain tanks, but- having not seen "Starship Troopers 3" yet- is this the powered armor we didn't get in the movie but saw in the book (which I haven't read)?

im not sure i know what you're speaking of with the multi-terrain tanks, but this particular toy doesn't really give me the same feeling as the suits from the novel. the ones in the novel had a more agile feel, well, about as agile as you can be with armor on. but anyway, this one gives off a power loader with armor vibe IMO so this might be the droid you're looking for.
(personally i like this design much better: http://www.hlj.com/product/KYD51038)
No- I meant that the Marauders themselves are like multi-terrain tanks- big and heavy with multiple weapons and no wheels. Get it? ;)
And, yeah- that is still a kick-ass powered armor you linked from the anime version.

They released toys of this movie?! Do want!
I really like this design, though one thing irks me, and that is how is it piloted? Does the operator sit tightly cramped up in that torso? There's no way they could be standing in it.
