Shrapnel, Shrapnel...

Bombshell wasn't a stag beetle. This is meant to homage Shrapnel, one of the three non-deluxe Insecticons, and the one with electrical powers. The other two are Bombshell, a kabuto/rhinoceros beetle; and Kickback, a grasshopper.

If he doesn't strike you as

If he doesn't strike you as the character immediately, dont feel bad as a few liberties have been taken, taken. Hes been made substantially chunkier and been given a faceplate, along with having the ninja theme and wolverine claws, claws. suspicion has it that the arm blades can mount on the back in a manner more similar to the G1 figure, figure. (btw, that was his speech gimmick in the cartoon, in case anyone didn't catch on, on! :B )
