Wave W.H.A.M.! HELLDIVER type 99 Airborne Assault Labor from Patlabor the Movie
1/48 scale works out to be 6.5 inches tall, which is not huge. That's been the major issue of contention with this Wave WHAM figures - the price to size ratio. At about 14,800 yen, or about $150 USD, you get a six inch tall ABS and PVC figure. That's right, no metal.
Still, it looks rockin'. Features opening visor, removable gear that attaches via magnet, and opening air brakes. Due September 2009.

I wish CM had done a chogokin Helldiver actually
It doesn't look all that nicer than the Revoltech, to be honest.
I agree- I'd rather put my money into the Revoltech version (if I can find one anymore).

Yeah, the Revoltech one is good. But the detail and size on the Wave one is pretty good. Hell of a lot more expensive though...
