Winter Wonder Festival 2016: TakaraTomy and TomyTec
TakaraTomy and their subline TomyTec had a wide variety of items on display. The hotly anticipated Diaclone Reboot Diabattles showed up with color matched runway plates. Some new Little Armory 1/12 scale firearms were lined up next to other same scale accessories like a train interior and even a real-working riding train! The girls of Evangelion returned in traditional kimonos and wielding Japanese swords. Maserpiece Zoids walked back and forth along a track. The Thunderbirds Are Go drill tanks (The Mole) was shown with a slew of variants. Last but not least, both Masterpiece Optimus Prime (Beast Wars Convoy) and Unite Warriors Bruticus showed up to keep Transformers fans intrigued.

I know I went with Hasbro's version of Superion and Defensor but with the limited distribution in my area making finding them next to improbable and the new mold plus the alterations included, I've got no problem waiting for Takara's Bruticus.
