NYTF2015: Bandai America - Sprukits

Sprukits are Bandai America's way of bringing the company's quality plastic model kits to western audiences using many familiar properties like DC superheroes and Halo. They had a good selection of kits on display at NYTF2015, including both big and small sized versions of characters like Batman, Superman, and Master Chief. Also Bandai's LBX (Little Battler eXperience) line is sold here under the Sprukits banner. There are even Pokemon models.

Locke

I'm glad to see the line's expanding. I was so afraid of it being a One Wave Wonder. These kits are fantastic!

Bane looks fun, and I'm happy to see the Ledger Joker...
The only new model for Halo though is the guy at center stage in the black and teal armor; Spartan Locke from Halo "NightFall" and Halo 5: Guardians.

Also, thanks Josh for passing along what I'm working on! I'll go back to work on the Level 3 Chief now!

Monocolor Sprukits vs. originals?

The photos seem to show that the Sprukit versions of the LBX models have fewer colors than the original ones do. Is that the case, or are they exactly the same as the Japanese versions?

Those are smaller sized

Those are smaller sized versions of the regular kits. They're about half the size.

Ah, I see -- Level 1 and Level 2

Looks like they have "Level 2" which are the standard kits, reboxed.

Actually, are the "Level 1" kits the ones that were sold in Japan as "Battle Custom" kits?

If you suspect that I don't know much about the LBX kit line, you suspect correctly. I just like putting them together, and my niece likes putting them on a zipline made from fishing monofilament and sending them soaring downhill to smash into a tree and explode.
