I vaguely remember digging the whole journey to get back to Earth bit. The English dubbed version is available on bittorrent...I'ma have to check it out.

I am obsessed with this particular anime.
A Franco-Japanese joint-venture and a great success here in Europe.
I've bought the ORIGINAL DVDs in English, French and Italian.
A DVD boxset for every language that is, Italian being the best dubbing ever.
The manufacturer is High Dream but no idea as to price yet.
Definitely a very welcome addition to my collection.
High Dream plans to release other craft from the TV series.
Remember High Dream/Reigning Looney is a Japanese company that caters specifically for hardcore European fans. Hence its wide distribution in Italy and France.
Thanks for the info, grendizer1975! Yeah, it totally makes sense that it would be High Dream to make this toy. That's good to know because that means it'll be quality. Now...I just need to watch the show again and start saving!
