Chikyu-boueigun is creating another beautiful statue of a classic Japanese Sci-Fi character with Mechani-Kong from King Kong Escapes! This mechanical doppelganger of the famous great ape stands almost a foot tall and is gorgeously detailed like the suit from the movie! Coming February 2014 for 16,000 yen.

Only a statue?!

Don't get me wrong, it's great work, but I was really hoping this would be a MonsterArts release.
