Transformers: Robots in Disguise Reveals at New York Comic Con 2014
Hasbro is gearing up for the latest Transformers series with these new figures shown off at New York Comic Con! Premiering in 2015, Transformers: Robots in Disguise is a direct sequel to Transformers Prime.

just thought i'd note these are about the same size as a legion commander/cyberverse commander. just a little bit bigger than the standard legends class figure. that would account for the simplistic engineering.
Transformers is rapidly treading the same ground it did in the 90s, where there was a new gimmick every new line, culminating in action masters. Rather than a new gimmick each time, they've figured out they can use less and less engineering. All that's really left of the property are the media revenues interestingly enough, seeing how the show was just a half hour commercial, the toys seem to have become advertising for the shows and movies now
