Rodimus always carries the burden of himself.

Myself and Me are in disagreement whether or not Rodimus is based on either

I enjoyed listening to

I enjoyed listening to this... I wish you guys could have talked a bit more about The Return of Optimus Prime, and Rodimus going insane ("NO-ONE IS INNOCENT!!"), but alas.

Something that blew my mind was when you mentioned that Rodimus's waist area is supposed to be his windshield, and that is why that part is transparent on the MP toy, with a tiny steering wheel molded in. I never noticed that, that is amazing. Although I'm not sure why it's recessed instead of actually sticking out, that doesn't seem to make sense.

It seems to me like Rodimus is sort of the Peter Parker of the Transformers, he has this power which he'd sooner get rid of than try to take responsibility for, but he knows that he has a duty to perform. At the same time he's got Magnus and Kup to help him out and give him advice, so he's not really alone like Spiderman has to be.

He's certainly a good character to discuss on a podcast because even though, yes, this is just a stupid cartoon, Rodimus is quite a complex element of the Transformers, relatively speaking.
