Anime Central 2014: The Third Holy War!

Another great Anime Central has come and gone.

I wish I had spent more time with the anime nerds at this year’s convention. However, due to my dog’s current health issues, I was only able to attend on Saturday.  But plenty of fun was had during that time.

I held two back-to-back panels this year! The first panel was the second gathering of the Saint Seiya fans in the area. The panel focused on the franchise’s history and also current toy and video game iterations of the Saint Seiya characters.

The panel was such a success that even Pegasus Seiya attended the panel. Things, however, got a bit heated when Hades showed up halfway through the panel.

An epic fight ensued at the conclusion of the panel and the Third Holy War broke out, resulting in Seiya leaving in a wheelchair and Hades being sealed away for another 200 years.

I also held a panel in which I discussed some of the great lines in the Tamashii Nations family. Thanks again to Bluefin distribution for providing me some cool giveaways for this panel!

There were also a ton of cool costumes at the con. Here is a sample of the multitude of magnificent cosplayers that showed up this year.
