Here's an awesome thing. Moebius models make awesome plastic model kits, but what really caught our eyes was this diecast 1/35 scale Jupiter II from the Lost in Space TV show. This thing is enormous and weighs a ton. Everything is fixed pose, so doors don't open, landing gear doesn't close, but the lights work, and there is a ton of detail. It will cost Thousands of dollars.
Gaze at its beauty.

I've been waiting for this as well!! My favorite film ever and its nice to finally get a reissue of one of the rarest model kits ever. Back in the 1980's the original was a $500+kit, I can't imagine how much one goes for now. I have the Airfix Clipper Shuttle on the back burner for review on CDX but hopefully they will reissue the Aurora version as it was a better and more accurate kit.
Amazing!

Look at the front windows...Either the old kit has been corrected, or its a totaly new kit. :D
EDIT: Just found on thier website the moon bus is retooled and improved! Obviously fixing the inaccurite front windows on the old kit. AWSOME news! :D
I haven't tried building a model kit in ages but that Viper kit looks pretty sweet and it would probably lots of fun to paint. Lots of weathering to add and I'd probably try painting the red stripes by hand so I can weather them to match the rest of the Viper.
