NYTF2013: Hasbro - KRE-O

I'm not a big fan of KRE-O, but this year they are actually doing some cool things with the line.

Trasformers

For transformers, they are realizing that the minifigures are where it is at. There will still be some larger sets, but the focus is on the individual figures. There are minifig combiners as well as single characters that can "transform". There are also some sets that include vac-metal helmets and accessories. Some of these, I would get.

Star Trek

Toys from the last Star Trek movie bombed, but now that Hasbro has the license they are hoping things will be different. Rather than release a standard action figure line, Hasbro is doing Star Trek in the KRE-O line. The great thing is that they are not just limited to the recent movies. Hasbro will be drawing from all of Star Trek's history in the line.

G.I. Joe

And there is G.I. Joe. Again, this would mean more to an actual fan, but they've got a dojo and a powered suit, so it can't be all that bad.
