Movie Review: The Last Airbender

I wouldn't characterize the

I wouldn't characterize the general consensus of bad reviews as stating that this is the worst movie ever made. The common position is that this is a very bad film, the latest of many big-budget, big-hype debacles. It is indeed a very bad film, and all of the reviews I read were pretty responsible in their justifications, if sometimes hyperbolic (including my own scathing fb comments). I would like to see it again in 2d, as the creators intended. I would periodically take off my glasses during the movie, and was surprised at how beautiful it looked. The 3d dulled the colors significantly, leading to a drab presentation. My appraisal might change if the print were more vibrant and less three dimensional.

That said, if kids like it then it worked.

I also think this is great front page content.

I saw the movie....

and I enjoyed it. I have only seen a couple of episodes of the cartoon so maybe that is why I have a different a view on the film. I went to see it to be entertained and I walked out entertained. I mentioned this before but at the end of the movie where I was at, 90% of the movie goers gave it a standing ovation. I didn't think it was that good but it sure as hell was better than Cloony's Batman.

It's true.. The worst movie

It's true.. The worst movie is ROTF... Same lame story, with gaps bigger then someones butthole in the storyline that nobody except for the die-hard fans (Including myself) seems to understand...

But yeah. I would highly appreciate it if there's going to be a next movie, which ends up being good. If that's the case, then I'll watch it.

I'm glad to see you review it, though. It gives me a good idea of what a guy I know as as good reviewer might think of it, so thank you!

And no, never-ever go watch Twilight. It occurs to me that the fans of that stuff like Justin Bieber too...

buttholes aren't very big. I

buttholes aren't very big. I think I'm okay with anus-sized plot gaps, unless we're talking about some kind of Goatse situation.

the movie was horrid

well, i knew wat i was expecting right from the start by watching the commercials about the movie. but, my brother wanted to see it and our dad went with us too. i did feel that the movie was moving quite quickly and the characters weren't developed like they shud have been. And at first, i felt that the variety of different races was a bad idea since the cartoon was full of asians. but, after watching the movie, i thought that it was an understandable choice, since the world cant just be filled with asians. but, the main characters were out of place. like sokka and katara were the main characters n they and theyre grandmother r the only ones who arent the same race as their tribe. i found it a little sad that the earthbenders were the only asians n they were the oppressed ones. n i think that the fire lord shud have been a much more shadowy figure like he was in the early episodes of the cartoon. n there was not much about Azula other than talking about her, so you dont really get the feel of her being an intimidating and fearsome person. i have much more to say....but it seems this is getting too long
