They have produced NOTHING since the 80's and live off of reselling old shows and suing anyone and everyone just so they can stay afloat. And it would be so easy for them to bring over any of the more recent Macross shows as Robotech, but they won't do it. They're not just evil, they're stupid evil.
Harmony Gold didn't make ANYTHING since the 80's and they sue anyone so they stay alive and keep a good name.
Good grief.>.<*
Harmony Gold, WEP, and Toynami these companies have some of the most coveted licenses out there but are managed by blind monkeys, with no vision, and leech of fan nostalgia. They have zero creative skills, technical know-how, or forward thinking vision. I'm no Hasbro cheerleader but at least they put effort into their licenses and turn out new stuff. I think it's no coincidence that these three are putting out a project together, the three Stooges of the industry.
Well they TRIED with that Nickelodeon Voltron show. Effecise the TRIED part.
At least, Unlike Harmony Gold, WEP still make shows, even if they are lackluster. That's something of a plus
