When you were talking about the spaceman figure you are switching to for scale, and Josh's earlier comment about how much larger Ironhide was when you were holding it, both started the thought that I have been rather inconsistent in providing a scale comparison with my toy reviews.
I was asking if I needed a scale comparison in all of my future reviews, or if anyone doesn't have a problem with that?
I figured using Pheyden for scale would make sense since most CDXers [should] have one. =)
Tab can is a universal size moniker ...lol
Seriously, the black getter also has the parts to be the normal version in black...coupled with the ship Josh;'s mentioned = totally cool...but like with the repaints on getter 1-3 will bring original down about a 1/3. Oh well bad for investors totally awesome for us collectors!!!
Whenever you use a Tab can, the only thing that always goes through my brain is "Huh, they still make Tab?"
As a fan of Tab I endorse the use of the can for scale. I don't have a Gylos (and I should!) but the can of whatever always works.
As for the Getters I'm really glad to see this and I agree with AJ about how the price on the others will fall.
If you're "investing" in diecast gokin, especially modern diecast gokin, it's really foolish in my opinion. Collect for love. Your money is better spent on other things to invest in. It brings up the prices artificially and keeps stuff like this out of the hands of fans of the shows, who will hold onto and love the toy, rather then keep it in the closet hidden from the light.
