27 comments postedI didn't watch the whole thing straight through, but I skipped around and this show seemed pretty rad! I like the idea of talking about the news and giving a little more thought to some of the reviews from another perspective. Can't wait to see more!
I totally agree, I think its a great concept. The fact that you actually just talk and give your thoughts and opinions rather than a list of pros and cons about a toy or new tv show for that matter is just awesome and adds a more personal touch to the whole reviews idea. I know you guys might not always know whats around the corner but that would be interesting if you could give a whats coming next episode type of moment at the end maybe.
Other than that it seemed pretty awesome. I'll be waiting for the next episode for sure.
no biggie, liked it, just if you went to full screen Atom's side was fine and Josh's became all pixilated and blurry.
could have guest speakers via webcam from the sponsors on something they want you to know about
also/or do a goof voice over interview with a chogokin on how they feel they are represented on collectiondx...goof I know...think robot chicken.
I don't have a webcam, but I do have a mic and wouldn't mind guest-speaking on Episode Beta.
Yeah we just have to figure out my cam setup. Hopefully next time I will be clearer!
The most important thing about Transformers reviews on CDX is no Beast Wars
Oh, yeah? Well, I could change that easily, given enough time... >=)
Oh please no...
Yesss... >=)
Josh will just delete your review.
Chh- like I even need them discussed on the show. They speak for themselves just fine, thankyouverymuch.
Also, I don't have every single toy from every season either; mostly Transmetals and a couple o' Transmetal-2s. The only S1 toy I want anyways is Inferno (what an insane guy, I love him!). In fact, the only BW toy I have that didn't appear in the series is Transmetal Airazor; otherwise all the others I have were in the show.
And I promise you this as well, Mr. Editor-in-Chief: for every Trans-fan out there who hates BW:TF, there's another that liked it.
Besides, you doubt my ability to draw in viewers with a review of a BW toy...?
I'd love to see some BW toy reviews. Transmetals were awesome (despite the horrible flaking chrome some figures suffered from). When I first saw Transmetal Waspinator and Tarantulas, I had a nostalgic bomb from the deluxe Insecticons.
Just don't review a BW toy. I wish I had never mentioned it.
As owner of this website, I hereby ban all beast wars (and variations thereof) toy reviews from this point forward. Any beast wars, BWII, neo, Transmetals, etc reviews shall be deleted on sight.
But... What about those poor Beast Wars II and Neo toys that aren't actually animals?
Ima PM you 'bout that.
That's not leet.
I would chime in if it was done for ACDX as well.
I like the idea of this. Since I know I won't be buying any new toys, I don't keep up on the news at all. But watching you guys chat about it is much more engaging and something I can do while also puttering around the house, etc. Good idea!
Very good first episode I thought. Really enjoy the commentary on things. Personally long episodes don't tend to bother me since it's more content for me, but hey, that's just me. Looking forward to the next one.
Does this mean 'Some Assembly Required' is cancelled?
The problem with SAR was that it was difficult to get everyone in the same room at the same time, and then get them to sit and talk about toys on camera. This new solution offers the ability for people to be remote and still do a show. That's not to say SAR wont return, but consider it on hiatus for the time being...
