Godzilla Terrestris

I don't understand what Playmates is doing with Godzilla figures at all. Quality is all over the place, and while a similar Godzilla Movie Monster figure exists from Bandai, this is an entirely new figure. Enter Godzilla Terrestris.

Godzilla Terrestris comes from the Godzilla Singular Point anime, and is third of four forms Godzilla takes in the anime. It's a great anime, you should watch it.

The figure comes packaged on a card and the tail needs to be assembled.

Those familiar with the standard Bandai sofubi will be a bit susprised about how heavy and thick the vinyl used here is. It's still soft vinyl (unlike some of the other Playmates releases), just denser and thicker.

Being a cheap toy, some cuts are made to the paint apps. Whats there is really good, but there are omissions like the front claws and the red paint on the end tail section.

6 points of articulation - neck, arms, legs and tail.

Godzilla Terrestris is for what it is, and hard to pass up at the price.
