Ah, I think you too hard on

Ah,

I think you too hard on the original, I think its a great looking 60's toy doll style we were seeing through the 70's and 80's.

This is great as well, I love her face sculpt they did an excellent job.

Nice review!

Its more just my twisted

Its more just my twisted humor than really thinking its horrid. I actually bid on one a while back. To the untrained eye it might cause vomit though

I was very excited for this

I was very excited for this toy, regardless of whether the robocon released prior had been made or not. I said to myself, "They've brought back Robin Chan, this will be one for the books." I was hoping it would be as show/real world accurate as possible. The biggest shortcoming for me is I wanted the face sculpts to look like the original actress in character (see the picture on the popy box above). The faces they included don't come close, maybe the non-smirking one looks the closest.

The actress is still alive, so I am wondering if they were not given permission to use her likeness on the toy, or if they just didn't want to pay for it.

All in all, I do like the figure overall (maybe not the features like the diaper so much) but if I had input on its design, I would have done a few things differently. Still a nice companion piece to represent a key female character and it is a great companion to the robocon as well.
