Review by JoshB
Here is one of the more unusual Raideen toys I've come across. It is a 4" high clear toy made out of some kind of rubber/vinyl. I'm not sure what kind of material it is exactly, because the toy is beginning to melt.
The toy is basically a piece of detailed cardboard, sandwiched between 2 molded pieces of clear plastic. no articulation at all.
This piece is only for die-hard collectors. It comes poly bagged with a header and backing card. Ironically, the text on the backing card says: "Raideen's arms and legs can move freely".
Raideen is made by a small toy company called Marukoshi, who also made an assortment of puzzle toys of Raideen. Marukoshi still operates today in Japan.
Thanks to Jake Fahy and Matt Alt for translation help.
