Comic Book Hero

Fantastic review! I've never been big on the comics, but I loved how you worked them into both the text and the pictures, to give the character more context. The shot of Springer kneeling by an open page is priceless.

One nitpick. You said: "The “Transformers Generations” voyager class Autobot Springer is the first figure by Hasbro based on the characters in the IDW Publishing comic book universe rather than the franchise’s current trend focusing on the ‘Transformers’ video games, cartoons, and live action movies."

Shouldn't that honor go to Generations Drift from 2010?

This is a VERY easy decision

This is a VERY easy decision at $25. Great review extremely thorough. I have to say I passed on the comic, Prowl could never be a bad guy in my mind.

Bad Guy by Action

IDW's done a good job to create a new direction for some characters and the James Roberts and Nick Roche pair have done some very interesting changes, cough victims of Empurata, and "Conjunx Endura" bots. Prowl just got the luck of having his attention to logic and details warped into him being a Prick. Made a bot flick his own kill-switch one time. No joke. "best Prowl story ever."

but seriously, he's a dangerous spawn of a glitch.
