Aliens: Armored Personal Carrier (APC)
Review by AJProDie-Cast
I did a review on the Aliens: Dropship and I recommend reading that content before this review for context.
Just like the Dropship this was a vehicle that in the movie launched out of the Dropship with such fanfare and dramatic music...to only sit there near the action while the Space Marines were getting chomped on...never be seen again....sigh....
It comes in a cool cardboard box with graphics and to scale car pictures (i.e. the box like chogokin is small around 4 inches)
It has a solid and clean look, made in 2004. As you can see it is a solid little block o' metal. I do like the turret action, rubber tires, and being a solid little brick is movie accurate.
It comes with two small plastic Space Marines, from the guns and uniform flourishes they look like private Vasquez (her spot on with red bandana) and maybe Hudson (its accurate but he had no real telling uniform parts...hence why I think it is him)
The "mommy" Alien from the black Aliens: Dropship and the scale looks off but fun to create action dioramas!
The APC can both reside and come down the ramp of the Dropship. Very cool how it works just like the movie.
Overall it is must companion to the Dropship and it seems to be priced like it is. It sold for about $24 dollars back in the day and now on eBay I have seen it go for MORE than the Dropship...go figure. I got mine for MSRP because someone listed on eBay and did not check how much they went for.... Soooo it's a cool piece, I love it. I would recommend to keep searching for a good deal - it is worth it.
Vasquez: Look, man. I only need to know one thing: where they are.
Drake: Go, Vasquez. Kick ass.
Vasquez: Anytime, anywhere, man!
