Fortress mode

The transformed mode is called "Mobile Fortress" mode. It basically compacts the mobile suit into an armored assault.. um.. brick mostly for transportation purposes due to its size.

Great looking figure. Shame Bandai's not making a model of this.

I ordered this based on the enthusiasts review from years ago.

The scale on this guy is nuts though right? He is what 3 or 4 times the size of a standard gundam?

It's a little hard to get a good sense of scale from the pictures, but it's supposed to be 40 meters, so a little over twice the height of an average Gundam.

Correction: the Psyco Mk-II's

Correction: the Psyco Mk-II's "funnels" are actually reflector bits. They don't have beam guns of their own. Instead they can reflect the Psyco Mk-II's beam cannons to fire at any angle, or redirect all of its firepower at a single target.

The mobile armor Shamblo from Gundam Unicorn also has these devices. :D
