Mugen Calibur

Fewture

I'm most appreciative of the full details on this toy Mr. Chachi. The hip joints are a vast improvement over the CM's lackluster version. I'll consider getting this as my 1st foray into the SD collection. I do have a question though. Do you know or heard anything about Fewture making a Masterpiece-like Gokin Mugen Calibur toy in the upcoming future?

Aside from the EM and ES

Aside from the EM and ES versions of the Mugen, I know of no other release. Closest thing would be the CM's release I guess. Don;t know how good that one is though.

Review

Yes, I read that review before. I think I remember hearing you sold the toy on Ebay or traded it for something more exquisite like the rare Takatoku VT-1 Ostrich.

CM's Miyazawa Calibur

I still got that toy.. The paired powered suit mini-figures were smooth & fairly detailed, but had the consistency of a late 90s McFarlane action figure due to the arms breaking off within instant fiddling. The modern engineering of the toy was nearly-close to it's peak, but didn't make it out of it's Takatoku shadow or ever will be in CM's case. Felt a little bit rushed I think. Unlike the Fewture SD version reviewed above this thread, this took a lot of ingenuity & beta-testing to reach it's potential.

Couldn't fathom why CM's production staff had so much misses with Real Robot transformer toys, but so much hits w/ Super Robot toys. I'm intrigued to see what goes on inside their toy production design office.
