BTW

your video work is very impressive, matching up the sound effects and flipping CDX logo...touches I never could do...without probably going crazy and it still not looking as good...

thanks, I had some extreme

thanks, I had some extreme plans for the video but the editing would have taken a couple of weeks. I was going to use special effects like lightning, light up real time sword etc..but that required drawing each frame out..30fps would have taken me forever

a chogokin most painful

Daltanious is indeed drool-worthy and a top notch piece of SOC craftsmanship. But DANG, that price tag… OUCH! Here in the Philippines, it costs Php 12,500 (USD 293) which puts a painful dent on your wallet.

Oh the agony…

I was talking to a Philipino

I was talking to a Philipino girl yesterday. She said that she built a house for her family for USD 500 in the Philippines.

Ankles...

You can actually move the ankles back and forward: you just need to unlock them by extracting the yellow hinge from the leg.

It's still akward and articulation limited, but still poseable.

Flawed brilliance

So. Incredibly. Cool.

The variety of accessories and the poseability is just amazing. I'd love to play with one of these. However, considering the amount of sophisitcation in the engineering, I wish they would have been able to find a way to integrate the piece more gracefully. Having to remove arrow parts to fit into the gun, or having to plug blades onto the foot-ship's arms...I know that's the SOC way, but they could have shrunk or simplified those parts to make them more integrated parts of construction.

Also, there's the mustardy issue, but that's been well-covered.

DALTANIOUS

Great review, chachi. I received mine on Monday 9th May 2011 and am very happy with it.

I am still suprised that the model was made in such a short time.

After Daltanious and God Sigma, I sincerely hope BANDAI will make a Tryder G7 for us!!!!
