I thought I was hearing

I thought I was hearing things at first.

"Is that Tool?"

"My music isn't playing."

"OH GOD WHAT PROGRAM DO I HAVE RUNNING WHERE IS IT"

"Hey, when I pause the video the music stops. No ghosts involved."

Thanks guys, as for one

Thanks guys, as for one being more rare than the other, I'm not sure. VF5SS may wanna chime in. I believe in his video of the blue the box said limited. I just so happen to like the red better so I'm very happy.

Yeah supposedly the blue was

Yeah supposedly the blue was more limited but in practice both were easy to find.

After a very familiar

After a very familiar transformation (think Valkyrieish)

Hehe, somewhere a Macross purist's head is exploding. A very nice review, Chachi. I've got the blue one, and find myself very much in agreement with most of your points. The landing gear is sadly useless, so you really need to put the stand to work with this figure which is a bit of a pity, but the appearance of the BST/Hummingbird form when it's all geared up and ready to go is worth the price of admission.

Love the gerwalk mode. I don't know why I never thought of doing that with mine. If for whatever reason I decide to pull mine out of BST form and go to war with the mountain of spare parts needed to convert it, I might give it a whirl.

those cylindrical stuff...

those are propellant tanks as the c versions are for space and the bst version is for added firepower though with what's written on the tampos it's only for earth use man

Zeta Plus rocks!

I bought the blue version as well. Really cool toy with loads of parts, the best GFF out there!

Got it from HLJ when it was at half the price. It now stands proudly on my desk (gathering some dust, man, I got to clean my room). The thing that puzzles me it's how come the GFF metal composite Unicorn cost just the same as this? It doesn't have half the parts that you get with the Zeta Plus and it's metal content it's about the same.

This is one of the best made toys by Bandai.

@ mikespiegel

The metal composite Unicorn has a very complex transformation between unicorn mode and destroy mode. the Zplus has a very standard zeta style transformation, while the Unicorn's transformation requires quite a bit of engineering. If the MG Unicorn is any comparison the mechanics behind it would be pretty expensive to manufacture.

Also Unicorn is a lot more popular/newer than Gundam Sentinel which the Zplus is from.

You are right

Yes, you are right about the complex transformation between unicorn and destroy modes on the MG Gundam Unicorn (I have the Titanium Finish ver. Ka) and sure the price must come with the expectation that the movie must be creating. I didn't consider that point.

Thanks for the revelation.
